Caldera Medical expanded their humanitarian efforts closer to home during their annual corporate outing when they partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County. Their volunteer team framed and raised two walls for one home, completed sheathing on two other homes, and participated in some general construction clean up. Caldera Medical’s mission is improving the quality of life for women; in 2015, the company launched Women’s Health Initiative (WHI), a program that partners surgeons with international physicians to treat women who suffer from SUI and POP through worldwide humanitarian outreach. “This volunteer experience gave every employee the opportunity to embrace these values and help those in need, right here in Ventura County,” CEO, Bryon Merade said. Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County is a nonprofit organization that aims to help families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter in Ventura County.
