Caldera Medical Donates Products for Humanitarian Aid

Caldera Medical announces the donation of their stress urinary incontinence and pelvic floor repair implants for medical humanitarian aid work.

 

AGOURA HILLS, CA, May 4, 2010 – Caldera Medical, Inc., a leading manufacturer of surgical implants for the Gynecology, Urology, and Urogynecology markets, announced today that they will donate product for humanitarian aid work.

 

Caldera Medical will donate their Ascend^® Pelvic Floor Repair System for the treatment of Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Desara^® Sling System for Stress Urinary Incontinence, as well as their full line of reusable introducers to enable delivery of Ascend^® and Desara^®, to physicians traveling abroad on humanitarian aid missions.

A large number of women in poverty stricken countries suffer from incontinence and prolapse and by providing our implants we can help drastically improve their quality of life.
